Thanksgiving on Every Table

The Mission Committee is asking you to participate in the annual Thanksgiving on Every Table (TOET) initiative. This project directly supports the efforts of North Hills Community Outreach (NHCO) in providing a Thanksgiving meal for local families that are currently supported through their organization (many are in poverty, hardship and crisis).  Please prayerfully consider a monetary contribution to TOET that could cover the cost of a holiday meal for one or more families in need. World Communion Sunday

World Communion Sunday – On Sunday, October 2, we will resume coming forward to receive communion. We will use juice-only communion cups and our communion stewards will use gloves when cutting our bread into cubes. Communion volunteers who have sanitized their hands, will be the only hands touching the bread. We will celebrate with Ukrainian bread on the altar to honor our brothers and sisters who long for peace. In addition, we will share the Lord’s Prayer, prayerfully hearing it…

Disaster Buckets

Disaster Relief Bucket ProjectUnited Women in Faith is collecting and assembling disaster buckets that are used when natural disasters, such as floods and tornados occur. These buckets are shipped to the area of need to provide items that help with cleanup. We are collecting items for the buckets now and will continue throughout the summer. Fall 2022 Rummage Sale

We are so excited that after three years, we will once again have a Missions Rummage Sale! The sale is on Friday and Saturday, October 21 and 22 in Fellowship Hall (1500 W. Good Neighbor Experiment

A group of people has been participating in the Good Neighbor Experiment (GNE) since January 2022. We have done an excellent job planning for the financial future of our church, but that alone will not guarantee the success of our church. Creed Youth Discipleship

“Creed” is our Youth Discipleship Confirmation program. It is designed for incoming 8th grade students (but open to any student 8th grade or older that has been baptized). Creed combines a 9-month small group mentorship program with a service-based leadership program to empower and equip the students to own their faith. College CARES Ministry

Sign up as a student or volunteer to support one. Volunteers provide encouragement and support for college students during the coming school year through prayer and by sending notes, cards and care packages. Hands-On Mission

The Mission Outreach Team invites you to some scheduled hands-on, short-term mission opportunities! Mission BarnTeams from Ingomar Church will participate in ramp building and installation for low-income people who are physically challenged. If you are not a builder, but would like to be involved, we will have another team that will check the disaster relief buckets and other emergency kits to verify that they have all items included and packed correctly. United Women in Faith

United Women in Faith at Ingomar ChurchThe International United Methodist Women have rebranded themselves as United Women in Faith. Under the leadership of the Missions Committee, United Women in Faith has come to Ingomar Church to provide opportunities to serve in hands-on mission.
