JOB OPENINGS AT INGOMAR CHURCH

The mission of Ingomar United Methodist Church (IUMC) is to reach people with the good news of Jesus and together become fully devoted followers of Christ. We believe life is better when Jesus is at the center and that we exist to lead people into growing relationships with Jesus Christ. IUMC’s strategy for pursuing this vision is focused on the “Five Practices of Fruitful Congregations”: Radical Hospitality, Passionate Worship, Intentional Faith Development, Risk-Taking Mission and Service, and Extravagant Generosity (Schnase).

We are currently seeking candidates to fill two Connect Ministry positions.


Connect Ministry CoordinatorS

  1. Do you enjoy decorating for the holidays?  Do you enjoy planning for gatherings or parties?  Do you normally attend in-person worship services at Ingomar Church twice a month?
  2. Do you believe it is important to Christ’s ministry to create a welcoming environment for those who come to worship in-person?  Do you enjoy building relationships with other individuals and meeting new people?  Do you like to help others achieve their goals and grow personally?  Do you normally attend in-person worship at Ingomar Church twice a month?

If you answered “yes,” then Ingomar Church has an opportunity for you to serve in one of our two “Connect Ministry” positions as part of our paid staff.

Each of these positions will only require an average of 10 – 12 hours per week, however the position involved with decorations and gatherings may require more hours during lent/advent, and less time during other months.

Eligible candidates must be able to pass the Pennsylvania Child Abuse, Pennsylvania State Police Criminal, and FBI Fingerprinting clearance process to become Act 33 and 34 Compliant and must share and support the Christian values of Ingomar Church.
