The Parents of Teens team is using the Culture Translator Kit series for the spring classes. The series addresses “real problems” that teens (and their parents) face in our culture, making the discussion and potential solutions extremely relevant. Topics include how to make and cultivate meaningful relationships; depression, anxiety and self-harm; gossip, word-of mouth and cyber-bullying; and identity (who am I and what does God want me to do with my life?).
Additionally, two special seminars are planned, where experts present and discuss difficult and timely issues faced by our teens (and their parents). Based on parent feedback, the February 24 topic is “Normal Teen Behavior vs. Mental Health Issues.”
Come join the Parents of Teens class Sundays at 9:45am in Room 125A in the Community Life Center. You are not alone as you raise your teen!
