Eligible candidates must be able to pass the Pennsylvania Child Abuse, Pennsylvania State Police Criminal, and FBI Fingerprinting clearance process to become Act 33 and 34 Compliant and must share and support the Christian values of Ingomar Church.

Wellness Ministry Coordinator

The Wellness Ministry Coordinator is responsible for helping to empower church and community members of all ages with access to information, skills, resources & spiritual strength in order to improve the quality of their health. This individual will become an advocate and facilitator in helping members of the Ingomar Church family respond to the emotional and physical challenges of life and health events.

Qualified candidates for this position must be licensed in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a Registered Nurse, have a minimum of three years nursing experience, have health ministry or parish nurse/faith community nursing experience or training, and be CPR Certified. Some community health nursing experience is preferred, as is the completion of the “Foundation of Faith Community Nursing” curriculum. The individual must also share, support and demonstrate the Christian values of Ingomar Church.

This is a part time exempt salaried position and is expected to work an average of 17 hours per week, year round. Although the individual need not be a member of Ingomar Church, he/she must be able to be present during Sunday worship times at least one week every month.
