Worship and Music Leader

Ingomar United Methodist Church (Ingomar Church) is seeking a creative and dynamic member of our worship team to develop and lead traditional (non-contemporary) worship services that engage worshippers and glorify God. The Worship and Music Leader will work with our Director of Worship, Organist and Choir Director, Contemporary Worship Leader and Pastors to plan engaging and life-transforming worship experiences – and to implement these plans through worship experiences that include traditional hymns and organ music as well as creative elements.

Responsibilities include preparing for and leading music, transitions, prayer, and other elements during weekly Sunday services. The ideal candidate will have: experience in leading worship and speaking and praying publicly; a sincere passion and heart for traditional worship; an appreciation for other styles of worship; a demonstrated ability to rehearse and conduct choral and instrumental ensembles; excellent leadership and initiative; knowledge of a variety of worship musical literature and hymnody; and experience incorporating other creative elements in worship.

This is a full-time, salaried position that reports to the Senior Pastor and has staff and volunteer management responsibilities.

The Ingomar Child Enrichment Center (ICEC) is recruiting to fill open positions in its Preschool and Child Care operations for the 2019-2020 school year. All positions are part time.
