Why did you choose to work at Ingomar Church?
I have been a member of IUMC since my parents joined when I was a kid. I was confirmed here; went to Philippi for four years here; was married here; and my three kiddos were baptized here. I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else!

What other jobs did you have before coming to Ingomar?
I have worked as a Genealogist, Title Abstractor, Registrar of Collections and Education for a Museum; in restaurants; and various jobs in the music industry during my stint in Nashville!

Let’s Learn About Meghan

  1. Tell us about your family.
I am married to Nate Mountain. We met as kids here at Ingomar in Sunday School and at Youth Group (hence the love for this place). We reconnected after college one Christmas Eve 11pm service…and the rest is history. We have three boys: Isaac, Reed, and Clay!
  2. When you were a kid, what did you want to be “when you grew up?”
    A pilot!
  3. What’s your favorite part about your job?
I have always loved music. Even as a kid, the hymns just spoke to me more than anything else. I still cannot believe that God called me to be here and do this! But the Spirit lead me…
  4. What is the weirdest nickname you’ve ever had?
My husband and family lovingly call me “Deb” after Pittsburgh Dad’s wife (he came to fame when we were dating and we often quoted him until the nickname stuck).  Lots of “Meg(h)ans” and “Meg Mountains” about but only one DEB Mountain!
  5. What was your favorite subject in school?
    History!
