Porter Harmon is a vibrant, energetic four year old who was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (AML), a cancer of the blood and bone marrow, in August.

Porter will have a long journey in the hospital as he battles the disease. His treatment includes procedures that require his blood levels to be adequate, so he will need whole blood and platelet transfusions over the next four to six months.

“With prayer and positive thoughts, he is going to beat this,” say his parents, Mark and Holly. “PORTER POWER!”

His friends at Ingomar United Methodist Church are hosting a blood drive to help Porter and the many patients like him who need blood and blood products daily. Please join us and make a lifesaving donation.

Sunday, October 7, 2018
