To complement our “Resilience” message series, everyone is encouraged to study the book Resilient: Restoring Your Weary Soul in These Turbulent Times by John Eldredge — either with a small group or on your own. This book provides tools needed to follow Jesus’ path of resilience that leads to peace, happiness, and strength.
The study will help you:
- Recover from the trauma of the pandemic
- Tap into the river of life that God promises
- Learn to be patient with yourself–genuine recovery from spiritual and emotional trauma takes time and intentionality
- Create a plan to foster resilience in your day-to-day life
- Discover deep wells of freedom and strength through Christ within us
