We welcome the Sanyuka Children’s Choir from Uganda, August 4, 9:45am at Ingomar Church.
Experience the Authentic African Sounds of Praise and Worship! Note that their concert will take place during the 9:45am hour on Sunday morning. Please plan to take a break from your regular small group schedule and plan to attend this special event.
Sanyuka began in 2008, when Allan Kizito took notice of two homeless and orphaned children lingering at his home church in Kampala, Uganda. Allan responded to the grace God showed him as an abandoned and desperate child who lost his mother at age eight. Allan recruited church volunteers to join him in caring for these and other orphaned children abandoned on their church premises.
Sanyuka is transforming the lives of impoverished children in Uganda by providing a home that nurtures and supports them, and by offering private school education that enables them to reach their God-given potential. Sanyuka is also empowering girls to break the cycle of poverty, transforming them through quality education.
