Clark and Beth Barnard began serving in Youth With A Mission (YWAM) in Mexico in 1982, and since 2005 have been serving in Peru. They pioneered the first YWAM missionary base in Peru in 2005 in Iquitos in the Peruvian Amazon. In 2008 they began pioneering nine more missionary bases in the country. In 2014 they took on the pastoral care for the YWAM missionaries at four bases in Colombia and two in Ecuador. They currently oversee over 100 YWAM missionaries in 16 cities spread across three nations – Peru, Ecuador, and Colombia.
Their YWAM ministries include: medical outreaches to Amazonian villages, church plants in unchurched areas, orphanages, Christian schools, missionary training schools, youth ministries, pastoral training, ministry to at-risk women, church construction, street children ministry, mobilizing the Peruvian church into world missions, and much more.
