For over 3-1/2 decades, students from Ingomar Church high-school youth group have spent one week each summer in Philippi, West Virginia, repairing and rebuilding housing – and ministering to the families they are serving! Families chosen to receive assistance qualify through Heart and Hand House.
Adult volunteers from Ingomar Church accompany the students, providing guidance and assistance with construction projects, and help with meal preparation during the trip. The cost of construction supplies and travel expenses is offset by donations from the people of Ingomar Church who support fund raisers throughout the year specifically for this mission outreach project.
