Sarah and Jose Joseph are missionaries in India who are educating and training Christian artists in the use of arts for missions. Their recording facility produces CDs used to musically touch unreached groups in their own language.
Sarah and Jose Joseph work through Youth With A Mission (YWAM), an international multi-cultural, multi-denominational organization dedicated to serving Jesus throughout the world. The organization currently operates in more than 1000 locations in over 180 countries, with a staff of over 18,000.
Sarah and Jose have been supported by Ingomar Church for over ten years. Sarah, a local woman from the Baden Area and Jose, a native of India live in Lonavala, India with their five children, four of whom they have adopted. Jose received his American citizenship in April of this year, and is director of the University of the Nations in Lonavala.
The Christian presence in India is about 2%. Sarah and Jose face militant Islam, militant Hinduism, idol worship, animism and every opposition imaginable. Bringing Christ into the hearts and minds of Indians is a goal they have committed to achieve; a mission Christ has given them. Sarah and Jose appreciate the support IUMC gives them to accomplish these goals.
