A Time For Mission & Fellowship!

The Rummage Sale is a community outreach, church wide project that occurs twice a year. It has a mailing list that covers 50+ zip codes. We estimate that at least 600+ people in the community attend. Many of these people rely on this sale to cloth their family plus many items go out to other organizations such as Genesis House, Hot Metal, Living in Liberty, Soles for Souls, Daily Bread, Philippi, and more.
There is a job for everybody! First of all, clean out your closets, drawers, garage, etc. Donate items that are in good condition but no longer used. This is the green thing to do and we all hold on to too many possessions! Children can do this as well as adults. Volunteer to help, even if it is only a for few hours. Our many tasks include setting up tables and racks, sorting items, pricing, checking all electrical items, making repairs and cleaning items so they can be sold, unloading heavy bags and boxes from vehicles, moving items to sorting areas, greeting people as they drop off donations, greeting our guests as the arrive to shop, helping our guests get items into their cars, cleaning up, providing food for workers and managing trash & recycles. Even if you have physical limitations, we have a job that you can do.
Please drop off your donations by Wednesday afternoon to allow us time to organize & price all items for the sale!
