Small Group Grief Support Sessions
Heartland Hospice is offering small group discussions for those who are grieving. Each session explores a different topic of the grief journey. You are invited to attend any or all that match your time and interests. This program is free and open to the public.
When People Disappear and Disappoint
Friday, March 22, 5:30pm-7:00pm
We can’t control the words or actions of others but we can limit
the access they have to our hearts. The death of a loved one will powerfully impact relationships. Some people will step up and be helpful while others will disappear. Together, we will discuss what we need to feel supported.
Please call Krista Johnston, Bereavement Coordinator at 412-519-2902
to register or request additional information.
Sessions held at Ingomar Church Community Life Center, Room 109
1501 W. Ingomar Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15237

Wellness Ministry Partnering with Atlas Art Press to promote Healing thorough the Arts Workshops
Getting into the “flow” of creating art has been proven to promote self-worth, relaxation, and connection with others. Inspirational themes paired with unique creative projects offers participants a restorative healing and confidence-building experience. Creating something outside of yourself allows you to experience your circumstances in a new way. You release emotion, separating yourself from it. This process leads to peace and freedom from grief, depression, stress, and anxiety.
