Mom and Me

This special class is designed as a shared learning experience for toddlers and their parents. They can participate together in a variety of hands-on learning activities including art, music, manipulatives, and literature. Our staff will guide parents and toddlers through activities, helping parents gain insights into developmentally-appropriate experiences for toddlers.

This class meets once a week and is limited to 10 children.

  • Ages: Children must be two years old by December 31st of the school year for which the child is being enrolled.
  • Class time: Fridays from 9:45 to 11:15 a.m.
  • Monthly tuition: $60

Older Two’s Program

This class is held two hours a day, two days a week. It is designed as a beginning socialization experience for young children who have just turned three years old or will soon be turning three.

Young children enjoy play experiences that facilitate and develop communications and self-help skills in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. They gain self-esteem and social competence as they experiment with a variety of art materials and participate in small-group activities.

  • Teacher/Child Ratio: 1:6
  • Ages: Children must turn three years old between September 1 and December 31 of the school year for which the child is being enrolled.
  • Class time: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
  • Monthly tuition: $120 for 2017/2018 school year

Three-Year-Olds’ Program

Our goal for this class is to create and sustain an environment that facilitates the development of self-esteem and social competence by encouraging children to engage in cooperative play. The children enjoy daily opportunities to explore, experiment, and discover the exciting world outside their home environment while learning and practicing new skills and concepts in the areas of language and literacy, math, science, and creative arts.

Classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays or on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Morning sessions are 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.; afternoon sessions are 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.

  • Teacher/Child Ratio: 1:7
  • Ages: Children must be three years old prior to September 1st of the school year for which the child is being enrolled.
  • Monthly tuition: $125 for two-day per week classes; $160 for three-day per week classes.

Older Three’s Program

This program is designed for a three-year-old who will turn four before the first of the year. The social skills of a child this age allows for more group pairing and enriched activities. Using developmentally appropriate and hands-on activities, the children explore the world of letters, numbers and writing skills and further their ability to work independently.

  • Monthly tuition: $160 for 2017-2018 school year

Pre-K Program (Four’s)

This class is designed for children who are expected to attend kindergarten the succeeding year. Children can practice their socialization skills and are encouraged to develop friendships and engage in cooperative play. An environment rich in print and numbers fosters the development of literacy and math concepts. Literacy, writing, and math concepts are tought through small group learning centers in both teacher direted and independent learning stations. Children explore the natural world through simple experiences and field trips. Their fine motor skills and creativity are enhanced as they experiment with a variety of manipulatives and creative art materials.

Children attending our Extended-Day program bring lunches from home and eat with their teachers. Their longer day enables teachers to incorporate more involved activities, such as investigative science, social studies and extended  project work (writing, literacy and mathematics) on a daily basis.

Classes are held Mondays through Thursdays or Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Morning sessions are 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.; afternoon sessions are 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. An Extended-Day Program is offered Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

  • Ages: Children must be four years old prior to September 1 of the school year for which the child is being enrolled.
  • Monthly tuition: $160 for three-day per week classes; $200 for four-day per week classes; $250 for extended-day (Monday, Wednesday, Friday).

Pre-K: Older Four’s Program

This program, specifically designed for older four-year-olds who are too young to enroll in the Transitional Kindergarten class, prepares your child for a smooth transition to kindergarten. Kindergarten readiness skills, such as pre-reading, literacy, writing and mathematics are taught using hand-on materials and developmentally appropriate practices. Children begin to acquire independent working habits, problem solving skills, decision making skills, and cooperative social skills. They will have the opportunity to work in small groups together to plan projects, and to carry them out collaboratively.

Classes run Monday through Thursday from 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

  • Ages: Children must be five years old between September 1st and December 31st of the school year for which they are enrolling.
  • Monthly tuition: $200 for 2017/2018

Transitional Kindergarten Program

This program prepares your child for a smooth transition to kindergarten, offering a balanced program of teacher-directed and child-directed activities designed to strengthen your child’s socialization skills, literacy skills, and understanding of number concepts. The curriculum encourages the development of problem-solving skills and creativity through active, hands-on experimentation. Children develop their abilities to make decisions, to follow directions, and to work independently.

Classes run Monday through Friday from 12:30 to 3 p.m.
