North Hills Community Outreach

North Hills Community Outreach is an interfaith organization addressing the needs of people in Northern Allegheny County who are in crisis, hardship, and poverty. Its vision is that no one is cold, hungry or alone. Services include: food pantries, assistance paying for utilities, rides for seniors, and “A Turkey on Every Table” for Thanksgiving.

  • Thanksgiving on Every Table
  • Angel Tree – Look for the Christmas trees that come out after Thanksgiving. They’re covered with gift requests for children ranging in age from infants to 18-year-olds. We’ve supported this program for almost 10 years, filling 65-70 gift requests each year. The support goes to less affluent children in communities such as Bellevue, Etna, Sharpsburg, Millvale, etc.
  • Food Pantries – Donations are accepted Monday through Friday at the Allison Park location (975 Ferguson Road, Allison Park, PA 15101). The NHCO website shows the current immediate needs.  We have donation boxes near the water fountain on the Sanctuary side and outside Entrance A of the administration building.
