Let us pray: I will lift up your name, O God, for your praise will ever be on my lips. When we praise, it’s an opportunity for others to hear you and to rejoice in your glory. Let us all open our mouths and offer words of praise today, for you have sought us and delivered us. This morning, we pray a simple prayer that your word would transform and deliver us in every segment of our lives, that our lives may be a re flection of your holy word working and living in us. Transform us, we pray, in the mighty and powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
Many of you know that for several years, I was a dean of a camp at Jumonville. It was a rustic adventure camp called 4 R’s. At our 4 R’s camp, we would participate in all manner of adventure activities in the Laurel Highlands of Western PA as we wrapped Christ in and out of all of our activities.
